Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures
Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
Clean and maintain surgical areas, kennels, and equipment to ensure hygienic workspace
Feed and monitor animals in care
Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, including answering questions
What We Are Looking For
Completion of a Veterinary Assistant Diploma preferred
Hands on experience in a veterinary clinic preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage animals safely and confidently
Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work adaptable schedule, including evenings and weekends
