We provide accessible, quality, culturally protected and holistic health care that supports and enhances the wellness of individuals, families, and communities. We work with our 11 First Nation community partners and the IFC in the provision of primary health care, traditional healing, mental wellness and addictions, home and community support services, and health promotion services. An employee in this role provides direct care to individuals in group homes or residential settings, assisting with daily living skills, personal care and household tasks while fostering a supportive environment.

Will also provide a culturally safe and compassionate, Trauma Informed support to Indigenous clients engaged in mental health and addictions treatment programs. This role supports clients through their well-being journey by assisting in daily routines,



implementing culturally rooted programs and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, elders and staff. The Position promotes holistic indigenous wellness principles and ensures a safe, respectful and nurturing environment while maintaining appropriate documentation and support strategies.

Diploma or certificate in Social Work, Addictions, Indigenous Wellness, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with Indigenous communities, residential or land-based healing programs, or in mental health/addictions settings. Lived experience with recovery and /or traditional healing practices considered an asset.

Experience working with Indigenous people, organizations, and communities.
