This one-year contract role requires you to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef by preparing various food items and ensuring a sanitary workspace. With experience in high-volume kitchens, you will manage dishwashing duties, organize supplies, and keep the kitchen environment safe and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in food preparation under chef supervision
• Operate and clean dishwashing and pot washing machines
• Scrape and wash dishes, pots, and utensils thoroughly
• Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces
• Help receive and store incoming food products
Requirements:
• Experience in high-volume kitchen settings
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Punctual and dependable for varied schedules
• Availability for Toronto Maple Leafs practice dates
