Services is seeking a Permanent Speech Language Pathologist to join our emerging multi-disciplinary school team. As the ideal candidate, you are energetic and enjoy working with children from Preschool through Grade 12. You will work collaboratively to integrate student programming with other disciplines such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Psychology and for students with visual and/or hearing impairment.

Division is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and you will be based out of 10127 120 Ave., You will be traveling to schools within the division receiving compensation for mileage as well as meals. conduct audiometric tests and examinations conduct speech language test and examinations diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive linguistic and swallowing disorders supervise technical and support staff develop, plan and implement remedial programs to correct speech, voice, language, resonance,
cognitive linguistic and swallowing disorders You must speak excellent English and hold a Master’s degree with 1 to 7 months experience You must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) You will need a valid driver’s license with a drivers license validity check (Travel from school to school required), a criminal record check, child abuse registry check, and you must be eligible for professional liability insurance You should be proficient with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point and MS Windows. You should have experience with total communication, oral techniques and alternate or augmentative communication Pediatric experience is an asset You should be flexible, show judgement, be organized, reliable and a team player with robust values; Competitive salary ($69,820 - $105,759 annually based on experience) Full benefits package including: dental plan, disability perks, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, and vision care benefits.
