The Municipal

Worker 2 will be responsible for operating and maintaining surfaces in Arenas, particularly with Zamboni duties. You’ll engage in daily custodial work, perform mechanical checks, and support various facility operations. Communication with user groups will be essential to ensure smooth scheduling and setup for events. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Zamboni and edger to maintain ice surfaces
- Perform custodial duties with automatic floor scrubber
- Conduct mechanical checks of ice plant and boilers
- Maintain and file facility operation records
- Support setup for large scale events and bookings

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or GED equivalency required
- One year of arena or related experience
- Strong communication skills for public interaction
- Captain Forklift Certification preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan
