We are continuously seeking Senior Business Analysts with strong business analysis, requirements management and IT project experience for current and upcoming federal government opportunities. These resources may support major and complex Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts and technology teams.

Group is looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts to support major and complex IM/IT projects within federal government environments. The successful candidates will analyze business needs, document requirements, model business processes and act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Specific project requirements, work arrangements, contract durations and start dates may vary depending on the opportunity.
Engage business stakeholders and subject-matter experts to understand business needs, problems and opportunities. Elicit, analyze, validate, document and prioritize business requirements. Develop high-level and detailed business requirements and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Create requirements traceability matrices and business process models. Produce business cases, use cases, data dictionaries, options analyses and context/interdependency diagrams.
Support User Acceptance
Testing (UAT)
activities. Identify opportunities for business-process improvement, standardization and automation. Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders. Support multiple projects and initiatives concurrently where required.
Prepare status reports, presentations and briefing materials for senior management and stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable recommendations for technology teams. Support project teams throughout the requirements, design, testing and implementation lifecycle.
Current
Government of Canada Secret clearance. ~ Must be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Top Secret security clearance. ~ 10+ years of experience working as a Senior Business Analyst, Senior Consultant or in a comparable role. ~10+ years of business analysis and requirements-gathering experience using recognized analysis techniques. ~ At least 5 years of experience working specifically as an Information Technology Business Analyst. ~ Experience developing presentations and briefing materials for executives, senior management and stakeholders. ~ Strong experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation and prioritization. ~ Experience developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs). ~ Experience developing business cases, process maps, use cases and acceptance criteria. ~ Experience with business process modelling and current-state/future-state analysis. ~ Experience facilitating workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
~ Experience acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. ~ Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). ~ equivalent progressive IT/business-analysis experience may also be considered. ~ Ability to provide the required residency history for federal government security screening. ~ Ability to work primarily onsite within the National Capital Region when required. Previous experience supporting Government of Canada IM/IT initiatives.
Experience working on major or complex federal government projects.
Experience delivering several projects concurrently.
Experience with Agile and traditional project-delivery methodologies.
Experience working with senior executives and multiple levels of stakeholders.
Experience supporting large-scale business transformation, technology modernization or digital transformation initiatives. Experience in complex IT/IM environments. Government of Canada experience and/or federal government security clearance. Strong requirements-management and business-process analysis skills.
Experience working between business and technical teams.
