We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Structural Maintenance to join our team!

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance Design, you will play a crucial role in designing, procuring, and constructing rehabilitation projects for subway-related structures. Your work will ensure these structures meet TTC and industry standards, as well as maintainability requirements, all while being cost-effective. You will develop and review designs, specifications, contract documents, technical reports, and standards.

Drafting structural drawings as required for engineering projects A large portion of your work will be directing and coordinating internal work force, consultants and contractors involved in structure inspections or rehabilitation work which encompasses quality control of the work performed. Additionally, you will assisting in maintenance of the Structure Maintenance Asset Management Plan and the enterprise asset management software (e.g., We are looking for someone who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to the success of our projects.

Demonstrate specialized expertise and knowledge in the assigned field Plan and organize activities / projects to meet section and organizational goals Use office technology, software and applications Your education includes a University Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering along with several years of structural maintenance/design experience You bring in-depth knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles to a dynamic and impactful role We are looking for someone who is passionate about the structural design, maintenance, and rehabilitation of bridge You have a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, including the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual and National Bridge Design Standards. You will need to demonstrate sound judgment, well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal communication and technical report writing skills. Ability to apply your positive knowledge of computers and computerized applications related to the work.
