The Service

Associate (SA) is an integral member of the patient care unit, health care team, and environmental services program. The SA works in close collaboration with other team members in providing support for the service/facility area or patient care unit activities and assistance in meeting basic patient care and service/facility needs as outlined. assisting with ordering, receiving and distributing supplies; cleaning and disinfecting floors, walls, ceilings, windows, lights, furniture, vents, washrooms, kitchen,



medication room, portering of patients, etc. Ability to read and write English to the level required for the job

- Ability to work as a member of the unit team with minimum supervision
- Previous hospital experience as an SA (preferred)
- Must be able to work all shifts
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient, and environmental safety and participation in regular in-service education in this area
