Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative companion animal hospital with a strong focus on quality medicine, teamwork and sustainable working patterns. The position offers a varied mix of consultations, diagnostics, surgery and urgent care exposure, supported by up-to-date equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound and digital dental radiography.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of companion animal experience and be comfortable managing cases with a good level of clinical independence. The role also includes participation in a shared after-hours emergency rotation alongside other local clinics, providing valuable emergency exposure while keeping the on-call commitment manageable.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree or equivalent veterinary qualification
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Ontario
- Minimum two years of companion animal clinical experience
- Strong diagnostic, medical and surgical capability
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach
