SMT Operator – Afternoon Shift – Guelph, ON Canada The SMT Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The role involves ensuring production schedules are met with high quality and efficiency while following standard operating procedures and safety regulations. and reflow Load components onto feeders and reels Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance Ensure PCBs are manufactured according to engineering specifications and quality standards Responsible for maintaining production output with minimal downtime and minimal supervision Accurately document productions data, quality issues, and machine performance logs Achieve and adhere to a high level of quality of work produced Successful completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent required.
