Start Date: January 2027 Application Deadline: September 28th, 2026 CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.

Your future duties and responsibilities

AI solution development

- Design and develop GenAI applications — developer copilots, internal chatbots, business agents — in Python and with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex…).
- Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions leveraging internal data: ingestion, vectorization, retrieval orchestration.
- Contribute to building and integrating agentic workflows.
- Integrate LLMs into applications via API, and handle prompt engineering as well as functional evaluation of outputs.

Industrialization and quality




- Take part in continuous integration and deployment of solutions (packaging, testing, technical deployment recipes).
- Contribute to software quality and test case generation.

Documentation and offering value creation
- Document code, architectures and methodologies to facilitate reuse at our clients.
- Write reusable technical deployment recipes.
- Contribute to presentations of the AI accelerators developed to showcase the offering.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

- Student in the final year of a bachelor’s degree or in a master’s program in software engineering, computer science or an equivalent program.
- Strong command of Python and solid ease with application development (REST APIs, Git, unit testing).
- Keen interest in LLMs, agentic AI, GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and RAG.
- Notions of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD, an asset.
- Ability to document work cleanly and to explain technical topics in accessible terms.
- Initiative, autonomy and curiosity for innovation.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients. Why join us?
