CGI is looking for enthusiastic and talented students to join our SAP team as SAP Functional Analyst interns for Winter 2027. As an intern, you will support our team at CGI’s Global Delivery Centre in Saguenay and contribute to delivering high-quality services to our clients.
This experience will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the role of an SAP Functional Analyst and develop your skills in business process analysis, SAP solution configuration, problem-solving, and user support. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with functional analysts, developers, and other SAP specialists on enhancement projects and application support services.

Start Date: January 2027 Application Deadline: September 28th, 2026 CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Join a multidisciplinary team specializing in SAP solutions;
- Participate in analyzing clients’ business needs and translating them into functional requirements;
- Understand and document business processes and how they are used within SAP;
- Participate in gap analyses between business requirements and standard SAP functionalities;
- Contribute to the configuration and enhancement of SAP solutions under the supervision of experienced analysts;
- Participate in analyzing and resolving incidents and functional issues encountered by users;
- Conduct impact analyses for change requests or solution enhancements;
- Collaborate with SAP developers and technical teams to define and validate solutions;
- Prepare and execute functional test scenarios and contribute to integration testing;
- Document requirements, functional analyses, configurations, test scenarios, and implemented solutions;
- Participate in client meetings and provide regular updates on the progress of assigned work;
- Contribute to proposing simple and effective solutions aligned with SAP best practices;
- Progressively develop an understanding of various SAP modules and how they integrate into business processes;
- Continuously develop your knowledge of SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, as well as new technologies and practices within the SAP ecosystem;
- Work collaboratively, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ways of working.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Strong interest in information systems, business processes, and ERP solutions;
- Knowledge of SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of or interest in business processes such as finance, procurement, inventory management, sales, logistics, production, or maintenance is considered an asset;
- Experience in a project, application support, or operations environment is considered an asset;
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into functional solutions;
- Strong communication skills and an interest in working directly with clients and users;
- Curiosity, autonomy, initiative, and a willingness to learn;
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with both functional and technical professionals;
