Staff Plus is hiring General Labourers / Electronics Disassemblers for our client in Scarborough.
This is a hands-on role in an electronics recycling/refurbishment workplace, ideal for someone who is comfortable using tools, sorting materials, staying focused, and working at a steady pace.
In this role, you will help take apart electronic equipment, sort components, remove materials such as batteries, paper, ink toners, and cables, and ensure items are properly separated and organized.
Location: Scarborough, ON Pay: $20.00 per hour Shifts Available: Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
What You''ll Do: Disassemble electronic devices and components using hand tools and power tools Sort mixed materials into the correct categories Remove batteries, paper, ink toners, cables, and other related materials Cut cables off electronic equipment as required Sort various types of batteries safely and accurately Check materials for quality and ensure items are properly categorized Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Repeat tasks throughout the shift while maintaining speed and accuracy Follow all workplace safety procedures and instructions Previous general labour, warehouse, recycling, sorting,
or production experience is an asset Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Familiarity with electronics, computer hardware, or electronic components is an asset Able to stand, bend, lift, sort, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to stay focused while completing repetitive work Able to work at a steady pace in a fast-moving environment Quick learner with good judgment and decision-making skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Join our team as an Electronics Disassembler, where your skills will contribute significantly to our operations while providing you with opportunities for growth and development in the field of electronics recycling and refurbishment Key Responsibilities: Disassemble electronic equipment and computer hardware following established procedures.
