This position reports to the VP of Eastern Canada and requires at least one year of adjusting experience. You will investigate claims by assessing damages, interviewing claimants, and reviewing relevant reports. Solid organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate claims and assess damages thoroughly
• Communicate detailed findings in comprehensive reports
• Authorize or deny coverage based on investigations
• Negotiate settlements with insured parties
• Ensure compliance with statutory claims processing requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of adjusting experience
• Experience handling property claims
• Level 1 or 2 Insurance Adjuster License
• CIP Designation or in progress
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
