Our client, a long-standing Canadian leader in the brick and stone industry with over 100 years in operation, is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team in Brampton
Shift- Monday to Thursday, 6 am-6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am, rotating monthly between days/nights.
Salary $30.50/h
- Set up the block machine depending on the products being made
- Doing all the troubleshooting and problem-solving of the equipment
- Completes quality and production reports and other reports as requested
- Ensures that raw materials are available and in bins/silos when required
- Maintains quality control of the curing of the product
- Communicates any abnormalities or faulty situations regarding the product, batch, quality, machine,
equipment, workplace, or other
- Abides by all safety rules and policies
Operating the cuber, strapper, and packaging line
- Operate automatic tumbler, reckers machines and other line sorting
- Participates in maintenance work and mould changes
- Performs preventative maintenance (aligning, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, inspecting, dismantling, making adjustments, replacing parts, cleaning and lubricating, welding, cutting etc), adjustments for machine start up
