We’re seeking a dedicated Sexual Abuse Therapist to join our team and provide trauma-informed assessment and treatment to children, youth, and their non-offending family members. This is a powerful chance to support healing and resilience through individual, group, and family therapy, while collaborating with caregivers and community partners to create lasting, positive change. The therapist will provide counselling in various formats, maintain accurate clinical records,



and manage a consistent caseload.

Additional responsibilities include consulting with professionals, participating in interagency meetings, organizing therapeutic group activities, and contributing to community outreach and prevention efforts. The candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with at least two years of experience working with sexually abused children and multi‑problem families. Ideally, they should have expertise in play and art therapy, systemic family therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and demonstrate strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required, while First Aid certification and a second language are considered assets. Sensitivity to cultural and lifestyle diversity and a commitment to ethical, client‑centered care are essential.
