Are you a science professional with experience in analytical testing and laboratory operations? Adecco is currently recruiting a Clinical and Health Scientist - Development Operations for our pharmaceutical client.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in chemistry or a related scientific discipline who are passionate about laboratory research, method validation, quality compliance, and contributing to the development of life-changing pharmaceutical products.

In this role, you will provide analytical support within the Laboratory Operations team by performing analytical testing, assisting with method development and validations, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.

and Excel Troubleshoot analytical systems and resolve system suitability issues Support method development, validation protocols, and validation bench work Conduct excipient compatibility studies (ECS) Investigate and report unexpected, atypical, or Out of Specification (OOS) results Assist with laboratory investigations and root-cause analysis activities Maintain laboratory organization, safety standards, and 5S practices Support continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory operations Work rotating or alternating shifts as required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor of Science (B.

Sc.) in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline Previous experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, scientific, or research environment Experience performing analytical testing using HPLC and related laboratory instrumentation is preferred Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles Knowledge of chromatographic separation techniques Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis Understanding of pharmaceutical quality standards and regulatory requirements Knowledge of Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP)



Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Excellent attention to detail and data integrity practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulatory documentation Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Strong mathematical and analytical skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Passionate about scientific research and analytical testing Committed to quality, compliance, and patient safety Adaptable in a rapid-paced laboratory environment Proactive in identifying process improvements Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative attitude Laboratory-based role within a pharmaceutical manufacturing and development setting Compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), GMP, and company procedures is required Rotating or alternate shifts may be required based on business needs Opportunity to work on innovative pharmaceutical development projects Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
