Aeropol Aviation Services Corporation is seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The successful candidate will support our shop operations by cleaning and preparing aircraft parts, performing surface-preparation work, maintaining the work area, and assisting other departments as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Clean and prepare dismantled components using approved cleaning methods, tools, equipment, and materials.
- Remove dirt, grease, oil, corrosion, coatings, and other contaminants from aircraft parts in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform sandblasting and other surface-preparation activities as required.
- Safely operate cleaning, blasting, and other shop equipment for which appropriate training and authorization have been provided.
- Handle aircraft parts, cleaning materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable health and safety requirements.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and perform routine shop clean-up duties.
- Properly store tools, equipment, materials, and aircraft parts after use.
- Assist other departments and team members with general shop and operational duties as required.
- Promptly report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, incidents, or workplace hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform other reasonable general labour and shop-support duties consistent with the position, as assigned by management.
- Must be available to assist with general maintenance and upkeep around the building and property.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.




- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to learn the proper use of shop equipment and follow required safety procedures.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, aviation, industrial, automotive, maintenance, or similar shop environment is an asset but not required.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with accommodation where required by applicable law.
- Must possess a valid driver's licence.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
