Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and air brake systems Troubleshoot DEF and emissions-related issues Complete repairs on steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain components Utilize diagnostic software and computerized troubleshooting tools Perform component replacement and system repairs Support seasonal snow and ice operations by maintaining plows and winter maintenance equipment Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately Work safely and efficiently in both shop and field environments Assist apprentices and junior technicians as required Qualifications Required Valid T Truck & Coach Technician License Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Valid G Driver''s License Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Preferred Construction equipment maintenance experience Heavy equipment repair experience Fleet maintenance background Snow and ice equipment maintenance experience Road construction or paving industry experience Technical Skills Successful candidates will have experience diagnosing and repairing: Diesel Engine Systems Hydraulic Systems Electrical Systems Air Brake Systems DEF and Emissions Systems Steering and Suspension Systems Computerized Diagnostic Systems Candidates should be comfortable performing intermediate to advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on both on-road and off-road equipment.
Schedule Day Shift 5:30 AM 3:00 PM Afternoon Shift 2:00 PM 11:00 PM Hours Typical Work Week: 4550 Hours Winter Season: 6065 Hours Significant Overtime Available Technicians play a critical role during the winter season and may be required to support snow removal operations between November and March.
