The Role You will be the person who helps keep our clients informed, supported, and reminded how much they matter.

This is not a passive desk job.

You will be proactive, organized, and client-focused every day you are in.

Your day-to-day will include: Answering phones, greeting clients, and being the welcoming first point of contact at our office Onboarding new clients and following up to make sure they are set up and supported Following up on claims to keep things moving and keep clients in the loop Processing payments, following up on missed payments, and handling billing administration Conducting file audits to spot gaps and opportunities,



and reporting to the agent for reviews Following up on digital subscriptions and online service enrollments Following up with clients on time-sensitive documentation from our head office Following up with clients on booking life insurance appointments Sending meet-the-team emails, renewal outreach, and client communications on behalf of the agency Preparing marketing letters and postcards, and maintaining the marketing calendar Managing the agency principal''s inbox, calendar, and day-to-day priorities Keeping our CRM database clean and up to date Who You Are Organized and detail-oriented; you do not let things fall through the cracks A strong communicator; warm, skilled, and clear in writing, on the phone, and in person Comfortable making outbound calls and following up without being pushy Must be very proficient in the Microsoft Office suite already; you know your way around Excel, Word, Outlook, and Copilot Digitally fluent; quick to master new programs and tools Reliable and self-motivated; you take ownership without being micromanaged Experience in customer service, admin, or a client-facing role is an asset Insurance background is not required; we will train the right person What We Offer Competitive base salary of $45,000 Individual benefits package Participation in the team bonus structure Three weeks paid vacation A team that genuinely supports each other, and ongoing support and development Room to grow as the agency grows These positions are with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
