CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS: Degree/Level of Education: Bachelors in psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Anthropology, or something similar Certifications Required: No Years of Overall Experience: 5 plus How will performance be measured: Quality of work, ability to do their analysis, Deliverables Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background: someone who worked at a large bank, has worked in a UX research method, research, but UX research like team, really, we want someone who''s dedicated to being a researcher. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities Conduct Research: Research design :identifyingareas of opportunity for research,defining research questions, creatingactionableresearchplans, andselectingappropriate methodsof data collection and analysis Research preparation : creation of participant screeners; recruiting from internal employee panels ornetworks, snowball samplingorworking with vendors to recruit external participants; creating research protocols Data collection : conducting design research methods including observation/ethnography, diary studies, user interviews, usability testing, card sorting,experiments,etc.
Analysis :utilizingqualitative and quantitative approaches to make sense of the data collected Reporting : translating findings into easily understandable insights used to drive ideation and inform design, in diverse formats including experience maps, usability test reports, personas, etc.
