We are seeking a highly accomplished Project Manager (Change Management) for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto.

In this role, you will govern and coordinate the end-to-end IT change management process to minimize risk to production services while enabling the efficient delivery of technology changes.

As an IT Change Manager, you will bridge the gap between IT infrastructure teams, application developers, cybersecurity leads, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will ensure all operational, application, and security changes are rigorously assessed, approved, scheduled, and reviewed in accordance with organizational policies and ITIL best practices.

This position is tailored for an operational governance authority who can lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) forums, evaluate change-related risks, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous process maturity across IT operations.

Location: Toronto, ON Assignment Type: Hybrid Contract Duration: 12-month contract Advantages Enterprise Governance Leadership: Own and manage the end-to-end IT Change Management framework across cloud, infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity domains.

Executive & Stakeholder Visibility: Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and partner directly with IT leadership, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Modern ITSM Platforms: Leverage enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as Service

Now or Remedy to manage change workflows.

Process Maturity & Automation: Drive continuous improvement by analyzing change metrics, reducing change-related incidents, and optimizing governance automation.

Responsibilities Own and govern the enterprise IT Change Management process, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards, organizational policies, and compliance controls.

Review and evaluate Requests for Change (RFCs) for completeness, risk levels, business impact, testing validation, and backout plan readiness.

Coordinate change schedules and maintenance windows across teams to prevent scheduling conflicts and minimize business disruption.

Lead and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, presenting change risks, dependencies,



implementation strategies, and emergency change requests.

Evaluate operational, technical, and security risks associated with proposed changes, escalating high-risk items to senior leadership when necessary.

Communicate planned maintenance activities, major changes, and service outages to business units and technical stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with Incident, Problem, Release, and Configuration Management teams to maintain operational stability and service continuity.

Develop, monitor, and report on Change Management KPIs, metrics, and executive dashboards.

Perform post-implementation reviews, analyzing failed or unauthorized changes to identify root causes and drive process improvements.

Support internal and external compliance audits by maintaining complete change documentation, approval records, and evidence.

Qualifications Core Technical & Governance Requirements Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations, Release Management, or IT Change Management.

Enterprise Technology Scope: Proven experience managing technology changes across large-scale enterprise environments, including cloud, infrastructure, networking, applications, and cybersecurity.

Governance & Facilitation: Demonstrated experience facilitating governance forums, leading CAB meetings, and coordinating multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups. ITSM Tooling: Hands-on experience working with Service

Now, BMC Remedy, or equivalent ITSM platforms. ITIL Mastery: Strong practical understanding of ITIL Change, Incident, Problem, and Asset Management processes.

Education: Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Preferred Certifications & Assets ITIL Certification:



ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification is strongly preferred.

Change Management Designation: Formal Change Management certifications (e.g., Prosci) are considered valuable assets.

Soft Skills & Delivery Attributes Analytical Risk Assessment: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities to evaluate complex technical change risks systematically.

Communication & Collaboration: Robust verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate technical change impacts clearly to both technical teams and executive leadership.
