**Job Title: Cabinet Maker**
**Job Description**
Join a dedicated team as a Cabinet Maker, producing high-quality custom cabinetry with a strong focus on precision millwork.

You will build cabinets from blueprints, perform detailed milling and assembly work, and use a variety of hand and power tools to create durable, well-crafted products.
**Responsibilities**
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to build custom cabinets according to specifications.

Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately using tape measures and appropriate tools.

Perform milling work, including operating millwork equipment to prepare components for cabinet assembly.

Assemble cabinet components using hand and power tools to create finished products that meet quality standards.

Use table saws, hand tools, and other woodworking equipment safely and effectively for wood cutting and fabrication.

Inspect completed cabinets for accuracy, quality, and finish, and make adjustments or repairs as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines.

Handle materials and finished products, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production timelines and customer requirements.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum of 3 years of cabinet making experience in a production or custom woodworking environment.

Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong measuring skills, including accurate use of tape measures and layout tools.

Hands-on experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools for woodworking.

Ability to operate table saws and other wood cutting equipment safely and efficiently.

Experience with millwork and milling processes related to cabinetry and wood components.

Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to perform detailed woodworking tasks.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active work throughout the shift.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Carpentry experience is a strong asset and considered a nice-to-have qualification.

Background in general woodworking or production environments is beneficial.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

**Work Environment**
This is a day-shift role, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in a woodworking and millwork shop environment.

You will work with hand tools, power tools, table saws, and other wood cutting and milling equipment, handling raw materials and finished cabinetry throughout the day.

The setting is production-oriented and hands-on, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and collaboration among team members.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Concord,ON.
