The successful candidate must have reliable transportation and will be responsible for their own travel to and from the working locations. A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify challenges, take initiative, and develop collaborative, insight-driven solutions that support business and people objectives. Flexibility to work between our Mississauga and Hamilton locations based on business needs.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and support leaders and co-workers. Be the trusted advisor to line managers to implement the unit business and people plans to achieve operational goals and objectives. In partnership with line managers, enable inclusive talent management and continuous development of local leadership capabilities to deliver to the VCG goals.

In partnership with business leaders support people aspects related to Transformation in the unit and be an active ambassador for standardization and change. Be the guardian of the IKEA Culture & Values in the unit, acting as the voice of the co-worker and securing that IKEA is a caring employer and a excellent place to work, as well as safeguarding co-worker experience (overall end-to-end - beyond P&C; experience). The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 62710 CAD to 86226 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
