Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency. This role completes winter operations by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; Prepare and summarize highway road condition reports, help dispatch winter maintenance equipment when required. This position reports to the Patrol Supervisor and Operations manager in the Supervisor's absence and will supervise crew in completing the project, ensuring safety and timely completion of tasks.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Follow and comprehend supervisor's instructions, as well as provide and communicate supervision to the crew.
Monitoring
Weather and Road Conditions. Help to create and verify accurate Winter Operations Records. Actively participate in the Performance and Development Review process, ensuring alignment to the performance pillars.
Carryout all duties in line with Company policies and procedures. Additional duties, as requested by Operations Manager and/or Project Manager, Patrol Supervisor, and/or Winter Patroller. Avoids legal challenges by complying with Canadian and Provincial legal requirements.
Fluent at reading, speaking, and writing English. Proficient computer skills, ranging from data entry and day-to-day submissions on time.
High School
Diploma/ GED required.
Experience as a Foreman/ Crew Supervisor within related industry and road construction projects. Basic supervision experience. Capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Required to be available for emergency response rotations as need for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
