Are you a Journeyperson Welder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and safe work practices? Join SMS Equipment in Prince George, BC, where you'll play an important role in repairing, fabricating, and rebuilding heavy equipment that supports critical operations across the industry. In this role, you'll work with Komatsu and other industrial equipment in a energetic shop environment, applying your technical expertise to deliver reliable, high-quality repairs.

Base Wage: $52.31 per hour.

Schedule: 14x14 rotation Repair, fabricate, and assemble Komatsu and other heavy-duty industrial equipment. Customize mobile equipment and components to meet customer specifications. Perform failure analysis and support the development of welding repair solutions in collaboration with the Service Manager.

Complete structural and component welding repairs to established quality standards. Provide welding support primarily in the shop environment, with occasional field service work. Maintain a safe and organized work area while following company and site safety requirements.

You bring Journeyperson Welder certification and experience supporting the maintenance and repair of mining equipment , along with a strong commitment to safe,



quality work in an industrial environment. Strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
