Embark on a hands-on 12-month co-op as a CNC Optical Technician with L3Harris in Don Mills, Ontario. As part of the Wescam division, you will gain experience in generating and polishing optical components using various CNC equipment. Ideal candidates will have a background in Photonics or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Key Responsibilities:

- Set up CNC programs and CAN cycles using G-code
- Grind and edge optical components with precision CNC machines
- Polish optical components, including aspheric varieties




- Inspect optical components for specification conformity
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed Requirements:
- Enrolled in a relevant diploma program (Photonics/Mechanical Engineering)
- Solid technical knowledge and ability to read drawings
