AlphaBee is looking to recruit talented and enthusiastic (dynamic) Instructor Therapists (IT) for ABA services.

You will be well suited for AlphaBee with the following:
- Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and experience with ABA (knowledge of verbal behaviour is an asset)
- Enjoys working with children, is creative and has great play skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- An interest in career development and further developing clinical skills
- Valid Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is strongly recommended
Best suited qualifications are:
- Preferred completed or working towards: Behavioural Science Technology, Autism Behavioural Science Certificate,
- Or a degree in any of the following with experience in ABA will be considered:
- Completed diploma or degree: Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth worker, Psychology, Social Work, Teacher Education Program or a related field
- Requires Vulnerable Police Check, First Aid and CPR
Role Requirements:
This position involves providing in-person ABA services in home, school, centre, and community settings.
The role includes active participation in client programming, which may involve:
- Working directly with clients both individually and in groups under the supervision of a supervisor
- Engaging in play-based and movement-based activities (e.g., running, jumping, sports, or similar activities as part of therapeutic programming)
- Supporting clients during behavioural or emotional dysregulation in accordance with individualized behaviour support plans and organizational training
- Using approved behaviour intervention strategies, including CPI techniques when required and appropriately trained
- Seek supervision as needed to effectively and efficiently problem solve
- Full-cycle involvement from preparation of teaching materials, implementing the programming, monitoring the client’s progress and the effectiveness of the individualized programs
- Responsible for progress notes, recording and graphing of programming data
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
