Role Description The Accounting Associate - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is a full time, on-site role based in London, ON. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling accounts payable records. It also includes generating customer invoices, applying payments, managing collections activities, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable ledgers.
The Accounting
Associate will assist with month-end close activities, support the preparation of financial reports,
and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The role involves collaborating with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting schedules.
- Ability to create and post Journal Entries (Accounting) accurately for accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
- Knowledge of Finance principles and accounting practices relevant to retail or similar industries.
- Experience using Netsuite Accounting Software.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Salary will be based on experience and the range begins at $45,000
