About the RoleShow Builder is an AI video editing platform that turns raw footage into fully edited shows.

We’re looking for an AI Video Editing Lead whose primary responsibility is to continuously make the shows Show Builder creates as positive as possible. The quality of the finished shows is the clearest measure of success.

This is not a traditional video editing role. Instead of manually editing each video, you’ll help improve how the AI itself edits.

What You’ll Do

- Review generated shows and identify ways to improve story, pacing, cohesion, engagement, and overall editing quality
- Refine the creative AI prompts that guide footage selection, episode construction, editing decisions, and effect usage
- Continuously test changes by generating shows, reviewing results, and iterating
- Improve existing editing effects, including when they are used and details such as timing, duration, transitions, music, and sound levels
- Research common creator types and the kinds of shows and editing styles they are looking for, and use those learnings to help shape Show Builder’s creative output




- Work with the CTO when improvements require technical changes or new editing capabilities
- Help evaluate and develop new editing effects over time
- Serve as the primary contact for beta testers, gathering feedback on both finished shows and the product experience, and routing UI, workflow, or technical feedback to the appropriate team member
- Proactively keep finding ways to make Show Builder’s output better

What We’re Looking For

- Strong video editing instincts and a good sense of storytelling, pacing, music, transitions, comedy, and polish
- Comfortable experimenting with AI and working with prompts
- Able to explain why something works or doesn’t and turn that judgment into improvements
- Creative, analytical, self-directed, and comfortable iterating repeatedly
- Comfortable communicating with creators and understanding what they want from the product

Experience editing YouTube, vlog, lifestyle, or other personality-driven content is a plus.
