We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Developer - Java to join our dynamic team.

Role Description Provide L3 application support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor enhancements for mission-critical telecom BSS applications supporting the Government of Canada contract. The role requires deep expertise in Java / JavaScript-based applications and databases - the ability to diagnose production issues across multiple interconnected systems. Focus on issue resolution, performance diagnosis, data validation, and operational stability of critical business systems

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide L3 support for Java, JavaScript, and Tomcat-based applications.
- Support backend databases and application environments.
- Investigate data discrepancies and transaction failures.
- Perform SQL queries for troubleshooting and validation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration flows between applications.
- Resolve interface and data synchronization issues.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and restore services promptly.
- Analyze application logs and identify root causes of issues.
- Perform minor code enhancements and bug fixes.
- Support deployment activities and release validations.




- Collaborate with business users to understand issues and explain system behavior.
- Investigate ticket flow issues, integration failures, and application performance concerns.
- Document fixes, workarounds, and support procedures.
- Participate in occasional after-hours deployment and incident support.

- Minimum 10 years residency in Canada preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
