Join our dynamic construction team as an Apprentice Carpenter and kick-start your career in the skilled trades! This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a variety of carpentry disciplines, including blueprint reading, custom framing, drywall installation, siding, and renovation. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll develop essential skills while contributing to real-world projects.

Responsibilities

Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise craftsmanship.

Learn to interpret blueprints and schematics to support project planning and execution.

Participate in framing and finishing tasks to help create durable structures.

Support drywall installation, siding application, and wood framing activities on various construction sites.

Operate heavy equipment and assist with heavy lifting to move materials safely and efficiently.

Help with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment,



adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework in construction or carpentry is a plus.

Robust interest in building trades with a willingness to learn new skills.

Basic understanding of construction tools, schematics, and blueprint reading preferred.

Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team.

Experience with woodworking, drywall installation, siding, or concrete finishing is advantageous but not mandatory. English speaking.

Pay: $16.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
