Automotive Sales Consultant – Used Vehicles

We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team.

This is a pure sales position with dedicated F&I; support.

We are looking for someone who is strong on the phone, responds quickly to internet leads, follows up consistently, sets appointments and knows how to close vehicle sales.

Responsibilities:

- Respond quickly to incoming internet, phone and showroom leads
- Contact customers by phone, text and email
- Make outbound follow-up calls every day
- Turn online inquiries into confirmed dealership appointments
- Follow up with unsold customers and missed appointments
- Greet and assist showroom customers
- Determine customers’ vehicle needs and budget
- Present vehicles professionally
- Conduct test drives
- Explain vehicle features and pricing
- Negotiate and close vehicle sales
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and follow-up activities
- Stay familiar with current dealership inventory
- Work closely with management and the F&I; department




- Follow up with customers after delivery
- Meet individual monthly sales targets

What We Are Looking For:

- Valid OMVIC registration required
- Previous automotive dealership sales experience required
- 2+ years of automotive sales experience preferred
- Solid telephone and communication skills
- Experience handling internet leads and CRM follow-up
- Strong appointment-setting and closing skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls
- Organized and consistent with customer follow-up
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Good computer skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience with prime and subprime customers is an asset

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their leads, follows up without needing constant reminders and understands that successful automotive sales requires consistent phone calls, appointments and follow-up.

Compensation:

$45,000–$95,000 per year based on sales performance and commission.
