Title - System Simulation Engineer

Duration - 12+ months Contract

City- Windsor, ON N8W 5B5 (Hybrid)

Payrate – CAD $43 INC or $37 T4 Hourly

Requirements

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of System Simulation Engineer within the Propulsion Virtual Thermal Management (VTM) team.

This role focuses on thermal management systems, including air-conditioning (A/C), engine, battery, and cabin cooling, using primarily one-dimensional simulation tools.

The candidate will be expected to independently execute 1D and coupled 1D–3D simulations, from data acquisition across various sources through to analysis and report generation.

The role requires close collaboration with system engineers to provide simulation-driven insights, numerical solutions, and recommendations for design improvements.

Required Qualifications:-





•Minimum 2 years of experience using 1D simulation tools such as Amesim, GT-SUITE, Flowmaster, KULI, AVL Cruise, or MATLAB/Simulink for flow and thermal analysis

•Minimum 2 years of experience in applied CFD, using tools such as ANSA, STAR-CCM+, or TAITherm

•Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on thermo-fluid systems

•Solid fundamentals in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Heat Transfer

•Good understanding of automotive systems and component functionality

•Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with a proactive mindset
