Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Handle food preparation tasks, including baking, assembling sandwiches, and maintaining bakery displays.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing special requests.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy,
including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Follow food safety protocols for food handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for processing sales.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a rapid-paced environment effectively.
