The Waterloo Region District School

Board is seeking individuals for Long-term occasional roles in their Before and After School Support program. Candidates will work with Designated Early Childhood Educators to implement play-based programming and offer essential supervision for children.

Your role will contribute significantly to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive. Key Responsibilities:

- Support play-based programming for students in grades JK to 6
- Foster positive interactions among children, parents, and staff




- Encourage self-regulation and communication skills in children
- Assist with indoor and outdoor play activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience supervising children in a protected manner
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Current satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive culture Support the holistic development of children in the Before and After School program with WRDSB.
