Manage schedule revisions, urgent additions, cancellations, and reallocations while balancing clinical priorities and resource availability. Responsible for all telephone communications; Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize schedule utilization, patient flow, and access to services. Review, validate, and reconcile completed surgical and procedural case records in Epic to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and data integrity Generate, maintain, and distribute reports required for operational, quality, and reporting purposes.
Support departmental quality improvement initiatives through ongoing monitoring of scheduling practices and data accuracy. Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies, procedures, and privacy legislation Participate in testing, implementation, and optimization of scheduling and information management processes within Epic and other departmental systems. Acts as a resource to clinical and administrative staff regarding booking processes,
scheduling standards, and Epic scheduling workflows.
Performing general office and data entry duties when required. Medical terminology certificate required Recent Clerical/administrative experience in healthcare setting is required Solid communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills Excellent keyboarding/computer skills with a demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
