Join a Growing Bookkeeping Team

We are a growing virtual bookkeeping firm providing professional bookkeeping services to businesses throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team and grow with us.

Our business is primarily virtual, but we are expanding our onsite client services in HRM. This position will start as a hybrid role, combining work from home with onsite work at client locations. As our onsite services continue to grow, the goal is for this position to develop into a full-time onsite client-facing role.

What You'll Do

- Complete full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process payroll and related remittances
- Prepare HST returns and financial reports
- Assist with year-end working papers
- Communicate directly with clients regarding their bookkeeping needs
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Utilize AI and other technology tools to improve bookkeeping processes, efficiency, and reporting
- Work closely with our bookkeeping team and management to ensure quality and accuracy

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar bookkeeping software
- Knowledge of payroll, HST, reconciliations, AP and AR
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team




- Comfortable working with technology and interested in learning and using AI tools
- Experience processing T1 personal tax returns is an asset, but not required
- Willingness to join CPB Canada (Canadian Professional Bookkeepers of Canada) and achieve the CPB designation within 6 months of hire
- The firm will fully cover the costs of the CPB designation
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required for travel to client locations
