Join PBCFSI as a Building Maintenance Technician focused on creating secure work environments. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs across various facilities. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Building Maintenance Technician will ensure that PBCFSI buildings are well-maintained.
This role combines hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems while adhering to safety standards. You will also manage inventory and documentation related to maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on buildings and vehicles
- Perform routine inspections of fire safety equipment
- Handle repairs in carpentry, painting, and other areas
- Maintain logs and control inventory of maintenance supplies
- Carry out additional duties as required Requirements:
- Journeyman qualifications in Carpentry, Electrician, or Plumbing
- Three years’ maintenance experience or relevant diploma
- Knowledge of building maintenance protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
