Material Handler The Material

Handler may work within a specified area or zone or can be cross-trained in various areas or zones within the warehouse workplace.

Material

Handlers perform some or all of the following duties related to shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products; dispatching (coordinating with transportation providers); This position will demonstrate that these task goals are conducted accurately, efficiently, and safely, while surpassing customer expectations Demonstrated above average performance in: Performing all warehouse duties including picking, packing, receiving, counting and tracking inventory Using any/all of the warehouse equipment/machinery Meeting/exceeding assigned performance metrics and KPIs Helping maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse Handling all hazardous materials, pesticides,



and prescription drugs according to the Company’s processes/procedures and all applicable laws and regulations Demonstrated above average performance in: Performing all work in accordance with Company Safety guidelines and procedures, with safety and regulatory licensure compliance Ability to operate all warehouse equipment machinery safely and efficiently. Read, write, and speak English Organization and administrative skills Industry knowledge of overall warehouse operations Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision.
