We’re looking for a Business Adjudication Analyst to support underwriting activities and provide advice and mentorship to our lenders. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of credit granting, underwriting and adjudication practices. This position will play a vital role in providing a remarkable experience to our members through their knowledge and responsiveness.
What you’ll do:
- Support underwriting activities for consumer lending, and oversee loan adjudication processes for Commercial and Agriculture business segments
- Leads activities to support credit granting and maintenance for business members, providing advice and guidance to lenders
- Supports achievement of the appropriate balance in growth while managing risk
- Review credit processes and procedures, offering suggestions for efficiencies and enhancements where appropriate
- Ensure loans are compliant with standards of sound business practice and credit procedures

What you’ve got:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of credit granting, underwriting, and adjudication practices, for Ag and Small business markets
- Experience in coaching employees to provide support and advice related to member centric lending
- Ability to conduct leading practice research to discover, analyze, and recommend innovative processes
- Working knowledge of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives
