Job Summary:
We are engaging CAD Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on advanced engineering assemblies. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Scope of Work
- Analyze multi-part provided in native FreeCAD files, ensuring full understanding of component relationships and assembly design intent.
- Develop objective, non-guessable, and accurate question-and-answer sets for each assigned assembly, focusing on technical accuracy and clarity.
- Create several detailed technical questions per assembly, covering mechanical functions, design rationale, and dimensional considerations.
- Format each question and corresponding answer to be unambiguous and aligned with real-world engineering standards.
- Submit high-quality deliverables within agreed-upon project parameters, maintaining clear and prompt communication with project coordinators.
- Leverage written and verbal communication skills to clarify ambiguities and collaborate effectively within a distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design, with strong foundational and applied CAD knowledge.
- Expertise in interpreting and analyzing complex mechanical assemblies and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD is advantageous; however, experience with other CAD platforms (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor) is valuable.
- Demonstrated ability to author clear, precise, and objective technical documentation or assessment materials.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to technical accuracy and objectivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on documenting technical insights for varied audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and adapt to project requirements in a remote context.
Pay: $70.00-$120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
