BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE ATTENDANT - CASUAL There are positions available for Before and After School Care Attendants - Casual with School District No. Reporting to site Administrative Officer(s) and Before & After School Program Coordinator, this position is responsible for providing before and after school care to school aged children. Successful applicant may need to work at other locations as needed in Before & After School Care Attendant position.

Duties to Commence: As soon as possible after closing on an as needed basis Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts. Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for activities and rest periods. Maintain toys and other applicable equipment and assist in housekeeping duties.

Supplies support services related to the position, for example (photocopying, typing and filing). Uses a wide range of equipment including adaptive technology,



argumentativecommunication devices, computer systemsand software.

Education Assistant or ECE college courses would be an asset One year training/experience working with school aged children is preferred Level 1 First Aid Certificate may be required Food Secure Certificate Certificate and other online safety training provide by the District to be completed within the probationary period Must be able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search conducted by the District prior to starting employment Please Note: Proof of graduation and or highest level of education is required prior to starting work Susanne Currie, Before and After School Program Coordinator at (phone hidden) via email at [email protected]
