Role Description The Carpenter role at DeM Modular Construction Guys Ltd. is a full time, on-site position based in Spruce Grove, AB. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing structural and finish components for modular buildings, following detailed plans and specifications. The carpenter will use a range of hand and power tools to perform framing, installation, and finishing work while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

The role involves collaborating with other trades and team members to meet project timelines, inspecting completed work for quality,



and adhering to company safety protocols and construction standards. The carpenter may also assist with troubleshooting on-site issues and contribute ideas to improve build processes and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong core carpentry skills, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing building components.
- Proficiency in framing and structural carpentry for modular construction or similar building environments.
- Skilled in the safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Experience in finish carpentry, including trim work, doors, and other detailed interior and exterior finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and willingness to follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in modular or residential/commercial construction is an asset.
- Physical ability to perform carpentry work, including lifting, standing, and working with tools for extended periods.
- Relevant trade certification, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent carpentry experience is preferred.
