This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on diverse job sites.

Duties

- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
- Support the installation of drywall, cabinetry, flooring, siding, roofing, and other building components
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed
- Help with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and helping tile laying under supervision
- Carry out heavy lifting and material handling safely to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly

Skills





- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for construction projects
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Knowledge of drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, siding, roofing, and caulking techniques
- Familiarity with masonry, rebar installation, concrete forming
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Solid teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in carpentry and woodworking
- Prior construction experience or handyman skills are highly valued for this role
- basic pouch and hand tools is a plus
- MUST have a vehicle to get to various job sites
