Job Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Certified Dental Assistant, where your expertise will help create a welcoming and efficient environment for patients of all ages. In this role, you will support the delivery of exceptional dental care by assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to a positive patient experience and the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, Crowns bridges, extractions and Endodontic treatments.

Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are maintained.

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and supporting patient comfort throughout their visit.

Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software such as Abeldent, including scheduling appointments and updating medical histories.

Support administrative tasks like checking in patients, collecting payments, and coordinating follow-up appointments with the front desk team.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements





Current certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program; experience with dental assisting is preferred.

Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Abeldent to streamline patient data handling.

Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and other dental procedures.

Prior Experience working in dentistry is a plus, demonstrating versatility across specialties.

Strong understanding of sterilization processes and infection control standards to ensure patient safety.

Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist may be required at times to coordinate patient flow effectively.

Compensation range depending on experience and qualification of the candidate.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
