Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – TSXV Mining

We are a Canadian TSXV-listed exploration and development company seeking a hands-on, experienced CFO with proven leadership in the junior mining sector.

Role Overview

This is an active, execution-focused role within a small, driven team. The CFO will lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, maintain internal controls and accounting processes, and support leadership on budgeting, strategy, and capital markets initiatives.

Primary Duties

- Lead and oversee all quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare and manage regulatory filings and ensure compliance standards are met.
- Maintain and refine internal accounting controls, systems, and documentation.
- Oversee bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting workflows.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and capital allocation.
- Identify and implement efficiencies and cost optimization where practical.
- Contribute to financing initiatives, including flow-through structuring and documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile





- Based in the GTA or able to be regularly present in Toronto.
- Direct CFO experience with a TSXV-listed natural resource company — this is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and capital markets.
- Practical understanding of flow-through financings and related filings.
- Someone who values judgment, execution, and accountability over bureaucracy.
- Ambitious, organized, and proactive.
- Comfortable owning outcomes and working independently.
- Solid communicator who collaborates well but is not afraid to challenge assumptions.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
