Job Overview

We are small company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production & Quality Control Assistant to support daily production, quality control, and food safety activities in our food manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will work closely with production staff and management to complete routine quality checks, maintain accurate records, verify that required procedures and documentation are being followed, and provide training and guidance to production employees.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, comfortable working on the production floor, and able to communicate effectively with employees.

Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.

Responsibilities

- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and document results.
- Perform routine production and quality control checks, including temperatures, weights, labels, packaging and other required process checks.
- Review daily production, sanitation and food safety records for completeness and accuracy.
- Follow up with production staff when required records or checks are incomplete or missing.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure established GMP, food safety, sanitation and production procedures are followed.
- Train and provide guidance to production employees on food safety procedures, GMP requirements, production checks and proper record completion.
- Observe production activities and identify food safety, quality or documentation issues.
- Communicate issues to management and assist with corrective actions and follow-up.
- Organize, file and maintain production, sanitation, quality and food safety records.
- Assist with traceability, product and production documentation as required.




- Assist with preparation and organization of records for SQF, customer and regulatory inspections or audits.
- Support day-to-day production administration, including preparation of forms, records and other production documentation.
- Work collaboratively with production and management to improve record completion and day-to-day compliance.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing workplace, preferably involving production, QC, QA or food safety activities.
- Fluent in Chinese and English is required.
- Basic knowledge of GMP and HACCP requirements; SQF experience is an asset.
- Experience completing or reviewing food production and quality control records.
- Comfortable working directly with production employees on the production floor.
- Able to train, guide and follow up with production staff regarding procedures and required documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing, incomplete or incorrect information.
- Comfortable using basic inspection and measurement tools such as thermometers and scales.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Organized, reliable and able to manage multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willing to learn and take responsibility for ensuring assigned checks and records are completed properly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
