Our Client
Engagement team manages relationships and drives new business growth with AIG’s major clients across all product lines. The team serves these important clients and their broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs. AIG Canada has an exciting opportunity for a Client Director to join our Client Engagement Team.
Reporting to the Head of Distribution, Canada and based out of the Toronto office, the responsibilities will involve management of key client relationships focused on client retention and new business growth. Serve as the senior AIG point of contact for key client partners and their brokers Internal Management: Champion new and existing business initiatives working with the Broker Distribution team (Broker & Market Leaders, Broker Directors) and Underwriting Business Unit leaders. Collaborate with leadership across Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering, Marketing, and others to ensure a Client Centric Focus is integrated into all market events, growth targets and business planning Develop and implement collaborative marketing and event strategies to achieve business production and performance goals Manage assigned client account portfolios across Distribution and Underwriting Develop plans to improve portfolio and account performance, enhance service and strengthen relationships with major account clients Meet or exceed client retention and premium retention goals for the Engaged Account Portfolio. 10+ years of experience,
including proven client relationship / management experience ~ Ability to influence brokers, clients, peers, senior executives and staff ~ Ability to manage complex global insurance relationships ~ Strong financial and accounting skills to effectively engage at the senior management level ~ Proficiency in French is an asset, but not required The base salary range for this position is $88,000-$133,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
