Everest Therapeutics is a counselling and care collective offering practical, compassionate therapy grounded in evidence-based, client-centered approaches. The team provides support to individuals, couples, youth, and families, with clinicians bringing diverse expertise, lived perspectives, and therapeutic methods. Areas of specialization include neurodivergence, trauma, addictions, mood and anxiety concerns, relationship and family issues, grief, workplace stress, and gender-affirming care. Services are delivered in person in Moncton, New Brunswick and Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, with virtual therapy available across several provinces. Everest Therapeutics is committed to creating a safe, cooperative, and non-judgmental space, particularly for people who have felt dismissed, stigmatized, or unable to find care that reflects the complexity of their experiences.

Role Description

The Clinical Therapist will provide client-centered counselling to individuals, couples, youth, and families, delivering non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with other care providers as needed. The therapist will offer in-person sessions at the Moncton, NB location and virtual sessions from home as part of a hybrid schedule.



This contract role includes participation in case consultation, adherence to ethical and regulatory standards, and ongoing career development to support high-quality, culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

- Background in Social Work or related disciplines, with demonstrated skills in Social Work practice and Case Management.
- Training or experience in Psychology and Mental Health, including assessment, diagnosis (where appropriate), and evidence-based interventions.
- Competence in Family Therapy and systems-oriented approaches to support couples, families, and youth.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field (or equivalent graduate training).
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with a relevant regulatory body in New Brunswick, and ability to practice within professional and ethical guidelines.
- Experience providing trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care, with a strong commitment to inclusive, anti-oppressive practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong clinical documentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfort using secure telehealth platforms and basic digital tools to support hybrid in-person and virtual service delivery.
